Guy Ware was born in Northampton and studied English at Oxford. While completing a D.Phil on William Blake he lived and worked with homeless ex-offenders, before training as a pubic finance accountant. His novel, The Fat of Fed Beasts (Salt Publishing, 2015) has been called ‘an intellectual romp’ by Nicholas Lezard and his short story collection, You Have 24 Hours To Love Us (Comma Press, 2012) led Time Out to hail him as a ‘remarkably successful short story writer’.
I really enjoyed interviewing Guy in his writing office in South London.
